NEET Counseling 2021 Postponed: The Supreme Court has extended the ban on counseling of NEET PG. Hearing the matter on Thursday, the court has extended the stay on the counseling of NEET PG for one month. This is a case of challenging the Central Government’s ordinance of 10% Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and 27% OBC quota in All India Quota for admission in NEET PG 2021. The Supreme Court has given the government four weeks to reconsider the criteria for the EWS category. The court has asked the central government to consider the 8 lakh annual criterion from EWS and inform it in the next hearing on 6 December.
