Delhi Police constables forged documents: 12 constables of Delhi Police were dismissed from service after departmental inquiry regarding Police Recruitment Examination 2007. All of them have done duty for more than 10 years. Police say that these constables were posted as drivers in the PCR unit.
It was said on behalf of Delhi Police that they (the dismissed constables) had allegedly submitted forged driving license (to drive a vehicle) and documents during the examination conducted by Delhi Police in 2007. More than 81 candidates had appeared in this examination.
An official order from Delhi Police stated that a candidate, who had registered for the 2007 examination, had applied for a re-drive in 2012 using the same license issued by the Licensing Authority, Mathura. Police said that on the instructions of the Delhi Police Commissioner, the matter has been handed over to the Crime Branch for further investigation. During the investigation so far, many letters have been sent to the Licensing Authority Administration of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
Police said that a departmental inquiry has started in this regard, in which it was found that 12 constables had submitted forged driving licenses, which they got from Mathura.
