Arunachal Pradesh Tawang Got First Movie Hall With A Start-up Opening A Screen In The Tense India-China Border 10,000-feet Above Sea Level ANN

Tawang First Movie Hall: Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang got its first movie hall on Saturday with a start-up, close to the tense India-China border at an altitude of 10,000 feet above sea level. There is a seating arrangement for 80 people in this cinema hall. This is the first cinema hall opened in Tawang’s famous Hotel Gakkai Khang Jahang. This cineplex has been built by Jadu Media Solutions in a heavily fortified city close to the Indo-China border. Women employees were kept in this cinema hall which makes it more special.

Ticket cost only Rs.100

The ticket cost for Tawang’s first movie hall is just Rs 100. People who came to experience the first day first show were very happy. Viewers say that the facilities here are very good and it was great to see the movie here. From the seating arrangement to the coffee shop and toilet, everything is fine. Youngsters are seeing it as entertainment as well as job opportunity. A young man who came to experience this cinema told that the cinema hall which is open here is very cheap. Along with this, we are also getting job opportunities because we need a lot of manpower to run a movie hall.

Movie Hall at a cost of 35 lakhs

Rajeev Nehra, Founder Managing Director of Jadu Media says that there are 110 crore people in this country who have never experienced ‘First Day First Show’ and it is these 110 crore people who can change this cinema industry. We made a cinema which is completed in three months. It is made at a cost of Rs 35 lakhs. Whose ticket costs Rs 100-125, where popcorn is available for just Rs 50.

Arunachal Pradesh currently has hardly three or four cinema halls, one in Itanagar but none in Tawang. Rajiv Nehra said that we will start from Tawang and expand to the rest of the country. We will make at least 20 -22 screens in 2022 in the entire North East. It has just opened in Tawang, this year by Christmas, the construction work of Bomdila will be completed.

However, the irony is that the locals depended on laptops and conference hall projectors to watch movies. After the first lockdown in early 2020, watching movies in projectors has also stopped. Tawang also has a 336-year-old Buddhist monastery, the largest in India and the second largest in the world after the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet.
